place is always legit great. vegas has a lot of options to choose (we all know that). although not all options are good....... let alone... few are great highly recommended. moo goo guy pan. is fiya. dont laugh if i didnt spell it right. lol. an no im not using spell check let alot im not going to go checkk lol. go order some china gourmet ttyl.
We love China Gourmet and have been ordering from them for over 10 years now. Everything is fresh and tasty! Service is also wonderful, cashier is super nice and works with you if you'd like to substitute something else for the dinner A/B, that's why we keep going back, great food and friendly staff.
I'm switching it up with an after photo. I don't always take pictures before so this was all that was left. This is good, made on the spot fresh Chinese food. The prices are very inexpensive. You can get lunch for less than $10. Fast food cost more than that now. I would probably come every week if I worked nearby. It's definitely worth it to try. PS: If you Dine in, the lunch combo comes with soup!!
Delicious and traditional Chinese food. The lunch dishes are very affordable and the portions are very large. I can't even seem to finish half of a lunch portion but the rest is so good the next day as the perfect leftovers. The staff is friendly and I usually call ahead to place our orders and everything is ready to go and they've never screwed up anyone's order. Thank you for that. Packaged extra securely for takeout as well.
China gourmet, service was on point. Love the spacious booth but the table felt sticky. The food was great. Really enjoy the amount given. I love when my food comes out hot. The lunch special came with egg drop soup and fried wontons. Salt and pepper chicken was crunchy and hot. Presentation could've been better but the food tasted good. But I've had better salt and pepper wings at a different restaurant. A lot of veggies than meat. Despite that, I enjoyed my experience. This was a quick and go dining. For a fast convenience choice at the time. Definitely try there other items. Their boba was the highlight of the experience. Tastes great, keeps you cool!
Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - we're back specifically for the combination fried rice again! Much cleaner this time without the fried chicken and tempura skin/shell so very delicious. So generous on the serving size! Service: 5/5 - Restaurant was empty as we came in close to 8:45 PM so really quick service and the chef was able to make the dish for us in less than 5 minutes. Ambiance: n/a - ordered food to go. Value for price: 5/5 - $10.78 for good food and quick service!
My friend recommended I give China Gourmet a try, and I thought it was really good and very reasonable in this age of our worthless dollar. Huge portion enough for 2 meals, hot, and very tasty. I'll be back!
I can't believe I have never reviewed China Gourmet. We have been coming here since we moved to Las Vegas 11 years ago. The lunch special is incredible here especially if you dine in. Panda Express doesn't have anything on these guys. You get a little wonton chips with sweet and sour as an appetizer. For $8.95 we got corn egg flower soup, fried rice and chow mein noodles, plus your main dish. I got General Tso's House Special Chicken. It was crispy, sweet with a bit of heat (but not too much. I picked out the peppers) and the veggies with nice, fresh, & crisp. My son got the lemon chicken which is like a fried and battered thin chicken breast covered with lemon sauce. We have eaten here so many times and it is always so delicious! The food is always so fresh. This little spot gets lots of take out orders but we have found it so much better for us to dine in. The lunch special is so great and you get so much for the price. China Gourmet is very humble and we just love them. I love that the lunch goes until 4pm and is all 7 days of the week. We really appreciate this business and all of their hard work. Thank you for delicious, hot quality food and service.
Sooo yummy!!! We ordered the Family A Dinner with 2 Egg Rolls, 2 Crab Rangoons, Corn Egg Flower Soup, Bbq Pork Fried Rice, Mongolian Beef, and Sweet & Sour Chicken (not pictured because I forgot and we ate it sooo quickly). Portions were all very generous. The lady that was helping us was great with suggestions and checked on us often to refill our drinks. All the food came out pretty quickly and was very delicious! We will definitely be back.
